Thirteen years ago, on a cold and rainy day, a tiny kitten was found shivering under a porch-soaking wet, scared, and barely hanging on. His rescurer had never owned a cat before, but the moment they heard his soft cry, they knew they had to save him. They wrapped him in a warm towel, fed him with a syringe, and stayed by his side as he fought to grow stronger. Over time, that fragile kitten grew into a healthy, loving boy who brought joy, comfort, and unconditional love into their home. He isn't just a pet-he is their child, their heart, their family.
Recently, everything changed. He suffered a sudden seizure, and veterinarians now fear he may have melanoma in his brain. To understand his condition and give him a fighting chance, he urgently needs an MRI and, if possible, life-saving surgery. His medical expenses are expected to range between $15,000 and $17,000-costs that are overwhelming but necessary to try to save his life.
In spite of his age and recent condition he is very healthy and the Veterinarian expects with the surgery his life expectancy will be prolonged for several years.
His family is devastated but determined to do whatever it takes. In a beautiful act of kindness, Lyons Family Dentistry, through their charitable fund, has donated $500 toward his care. But so much more is needed.
